2. Website delivery and server logs
When you access our website, the web server processes technically required connection data. This may include the IP address, time of access, requested address, transferred data volume, referrer, browser and operating system. Processing is necessary to deliver the website and ensure stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted when it is no longer required for these purposes unless statutory retention obligations apply.
3. Cookies and consent
Cookies or comparable storage technologies may be used for technically necessary functions. Services that require consent may only be activated after you have agreed through the consent banner. You can withdraw consent for the future through the cookie settings.
4. Contact by email and contact form
If you contact us by email or form, we process the information you provide to answer your enquiry. Depending on the enquiry, processing is based on pre-contractual measures or a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully handled unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Membership enquiries and membership
If you request or prepare membership through our website, we process the information required to handle the application and establish or administer membership. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where statutory retention obligations apply, further storage is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
6. Audience measurement with Google Analytics
If you consent to statistics or analytics in the consent banner and Google Analytics is enabled on this website, we use Google Analytics 4 for statistical analysis of website use. The provider for users in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Google Analytics should not be loaded without the required consent.
Google may also process data in third countries. Google provides further information about processing and safeguards in its privacy information. You can withdraw your consent at any time for the future through the cookie settings.
7. Conversion measurement on our website
If Google Analytics is available after your consent, we measure selected interactions such as clicks on first-visit information, membership, WhatsApp, directions, company or rental enquiries and successful AJAX form submissions. This function does not load an additional analytics service. Measurement is only passed to the Google Analytics system that is already available after your consent.
8. External links and Google Maps
Our website contains links to external services such as Google Maps, Instagram, WhatsApp, Linktree or media websites. Merely displaying such a link does not establish a connection to the external service. Once you open it, the privacy terms of the respective provider apply.
9. Recipients and processors
We use technical service providers where necessary for hosting, website operation, forms or other expressly stated functions. Service providers receive personal data only where necessary for the respective purpose and legally permitted.
10. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as it is required for the respective purpose. It is then deleted or restricted unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage. If no fixed period can be stated, the duration depends on the purpose, technical security requirements and applicable legal obligations.
11. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights including access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For organisations and persons in Lower Saxony, the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony is particularly relevant. Information and the online complaint form are available at lfd.niedersachsen.de/beschwerde.
12. Privacy questions
For questions about the processing of your data, contact us at [email protected].
